With the stock
cover air must make it's way around the airbox and up
between the sides of the fuel tank, then over the filter
cover. This replacement securely holds and seals the
filter in the airbox just like the stock cover, but allows a
much more direct path to the filter. Dyno runs have
shown gains of about 2 ft/lbs of torque and 2 HP without
further tuning (more benefits anticipated when tuning with
aftermarket tuning devices). Gets rid of the sound
resonator. Not recommended with stock ECU unless bike
is equipped with a way to tune fuel delivery. Works
with Ducati Performance ECU.
